The Ortovox Merino Shield Tec Pala Lightweight Jacket for women is a sporty, stretchy jacket that's extremely durable and ideal for alpine climbing.

The imposing and bizarre towers of the Pala group rise from the high, rocky plateau. Climbing here, on the southernmost range of the Dolomites, requires nerves of steel and robust equipment. Ortovox has designed its Merino Shield Tec range especially for such alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the Pala Lightweight Jacket for women withstands over 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which measures abrasion resistance. Additional panels in stressed areas such as the shoulders, forearms, and hips provide maximum protection against uneven rock. The 4-way stretch material offers complete freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and articulated elbows. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the Pala Lightweight Jacket for women is particularly breathable. A fine merino wool lining and merino mesh inserts at the collar ensure optimal comfort.

The women's Pala Light Jacket features elasticated cuffs and hem. Thanks to its High-Reach Performance Fit, it moves with you and is ideal for climbing. The chest pocket offers storage space for a topographic map, mobile phone, energy bars, or other small essentials for a long day in the mountains.

In an effort to protect the environment, the entire Merino Shield Tec range is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral thanks to CO₂ compensation. With its modern look, the women's Pala Light Jacket is ready for big routes on high rock faces.

Merino Inside: Ortovox's sustainable merino wool comes from controlled, species-appropriate sheep farming. Soft and comfortable, it is easy to care for and ensures an optimal body temperature thanks to its moisture- and temperature-regulating properties.
Merino Shield Tec: As with the Merino Shield Shell, Ortovox uses Cordura® in the Merino Shield Tec collection, giving this material exceptional abrasion resistance and robustness. In addition to Cordura®, the fabric is made of soft merino wool on the inside, elastane, and polyamide, a blend offering great stretch and excellent breathability. (Weight: 175 g/m²)
