Mammut

Mammut is a Swiss brand specializing in mountaineering. Their mission is to manufacture ropes, clothing, shoes and various equipment suitable for the mountains. It all started in 1862, when Kaspar Tanner started his artisanal rope factory. One thing led to another, a brand was born. The small, artisanal family business has fallen into the category of large business. To date, Mammut has subsidiaries in Germany, Norway, the United States, Japan, and a worldwide distribution network.
