The 1/3-length zippers on each leg with lower pressure hems and an elastic waist with internal drawstring give you a custom fit. The pants also have a zipped pocket at the right back to store topos or other essential items, and if the sun comes out, they fit into that pocket and attach themselves to a harness or bag via the musket loop.
